Our project coordinator, Spyros Yannopoulos, Research Director at Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), presented the GRAPHERGIA project in the workshop “Synergizing Sustainability: Integrating Advanced Energy Storage with Harvesting for Wearable Electronics” on the 30th of June 2024 in Tampere (Finland), in a satellite event of the IEEE FLEPS Conference 2024.

Spyros spoke about our initiative in a presentation under the title “GRAPHERGIA: Illuminating the Future of Smart Textiles and Li-ion Batteries with Laser-Assisted Graphene”. Dorela Hoxha, Materials and Processes Engineer at our partner Pleione Energy, also participated in the talk.

Other representatives from some of our sibling projects introduced their EU-funded projects:

  • Sam Mousavi presented SOLiD Project.
  • Marja Välimäki and Marcos Katz presented project SUPERIOT.
  • Jari Keskinen presented Project ARMS.

The insightful contributions of the speakers and the audience engagement made this workshop a success.
