GRAPHERGIA attended the Graphene Week 2025 held in September 2025 in Vicenza (Italy) to share its research progress and results with the European graphene and 2D materials community. Our Greek partner Adamant Composites presented a poster about the project’s approach introducing an environmentally friendly technique for depositing high-quality graphene employing laser-assisted methods: “Reduced Graphene Oxide & CFRP’s Maximized Properties: An Investigative Overview”.

On 23 September, Spyros Tsiotos, Materials and Processes Engineer at Adamant Composites, explained the poster focusing on Adamant‘s work refining the use of laser irradiation to create more cohesive, high‑quality graphene–CFRP interfaces.

The document is co-authored by Chrysanthi Paparouni, Despoina Batsouli, and Antonios Vavouliotis, from Adamant Composites, together with the researchers from Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences of Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH/ICE-HT) Natalia Kantouni and Spyros N. Yannopoulos.
