This second GRAPHERGIA Hub Webinar Series is dedicated to discussing sustainability principles to evaluate the environmental and socio-economic methodologies for products’ eco-design. In this scientific session, we will present the eco-design principles for materials, process and development phases, while sharing insights from the key methodologies used for sustainability research, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Social Life Cycle Assessment (SLCA).

Matteo Maccanti – Next Technology Tecnotessile
He is an environmental researcher with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Technology. He currently works as an LCA Analyst at Next Technology Tecnotessile, contributing to European projects on sustainability and innovation. His expertise includes Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Social LCA, and Life Cycle Costing, with a focus on textiles, packaging, bio-based materials, and eco-design. He has previous experience in academic and consulting roles, conducting environmental impact assessments, sustainability certifications, and training. Matteo has published several scientific articles and actively engages in outreach and volunteer initiatives.
Despoina Batsouli – Adamant Composites
She is a Materials Engineer, with more than reight years of technical experience in materials and processes projects and six years of project management experience. She currently works as Head of the Advanced Materials Business Unit at Adamant Composites, overseeing project execution while driving business development. She also served as Technical Project Manager, emphasizing on day-to-day project management, reporting to management on the status, planning and monitoring of internal actions and resources for the projects and organizing and managing internal research implementations on production lines.
