Collaboration is key to exchange know-how and achieve shared goals, as it brings together diverse perspectives and fresh ideas.

Collaboration has been a pillar for the GRAPHERGIA innovators since the beginning of our project, starting with the Graphene Flagship community. But now we are also going beyond, and we are very happy to share with you our latest article, a piece drafted together with PHOENIX, a European research and innovation project launched in May 2023 supporting the development of smart, technologically advanced and sustainable batteries by embedding sensors and self-healing functionalities that is part of a bigger initiative, Battery 2030+.

By integrating sensing, triggering and self-repair mechanisms directly into the battery cell, PHOENIX aims to unlock a new generation of intelligent energy storage systems designed for a circular and climate-neutral future.
