The GRAPHERGIA partners have been very active during the first 20 months of our project life, born in October 2023 in Patras (Greece), disseminating our research activities through events participation and scientific articles publication in the international community boosting energy innovation with graphene and other 2D materials.
We have participated in a total of ten scientific events, and have published eight scientific papers, since GRAPHERGIA is investing key efforts in sharing the knowledge generated by the project making our research open access in our Zenodo repository.
GRAPHERGIA Participates in 10 Scientific Events
Twelve is the number of European and international events dedicated to material innovation, smart textiles and future batteries in which our partners have presented the GRAPHERGIA project. Ten of them are scientific events where we hosted workshops, presented posters and submitted conference proceedings, while promoting GRAPHERGIA and engaging with our target stakeholders community.
Moreover, to date, GRAPHERGIA has co-organized two thematic workshops with the ARMS project on energy harvesting for wearable electronics, promoting cross-project knowledge exchange and identifying synergistic opportunities: the first one at the IEEE FLEPS 2024, and the second during the Graphene Week 2024. We also co-hosted the Horizon Europe Satellite Event at the 15th International Conference on Solid State Chemistry 2024 with the EMPHASIS and INERRANT Projects.

GRAPHERGIA Publishes 8 Scientific Papers
GRAPHERGIA’s dissemination focuses on enabling the target stakeholders to benefit from the open research results from the project. In this sense, the consortium has released its first scientific publications and published public results in open access. The project has also created its own community of stakeholders with the GRAPHERGIA Hub and engaged different levels of students to do its research.
GRAPHERGIA counts already eight peer-reviewed scientific publications in open access, 5 have been published in scientific journals and 3 publications in conference proceedings. In addition, the project counts two posters presented during the poster session at Graphene Week 2024: Next Technology Tecnotessile poster about sustainable research in graphene-based energy harvesting and Adamant poster about poster about triboelectric nanogenerators.
